THE PROJECT Gebak van Tabak evolved from an artisan wedding cake business into Amsterdam's newest American-style bakery. The owner, Esther, approached us to develop their first professional brand identity as they expanded from custom wedding cakes into a full-service bakery storefront.
Our challenge was crafting a versatile identity system that would serve both the wedding cake atelier and the daily bakery.
We crafted a sophisticated yet warm brand using modular colors and pointillism-inspired icons that adapt seamlessly across both offerings. This flexibility extends through all touchpoints—from wedding consultation materials to daily-use items like coffee cups, menus, and packaging.
